Photo Flash: SARTA's 2012 Elly Award Ceremony Adult Division Set for Crest Theatre, 9/23

The 30th Annual Elly Award Ceremony – Adult Division will be held on Sunday, September 23 at 7pm at the Crest Theatre. This year's ceremony director, Dean Shellenberger, has some exciting new performances lined up to celebrate this milestone anniversary. This year's hosts are actors Kellie Yvonne Raines and Shawn B. Musical numbers will be performed by Elly-nominated theatres in the Overall Production– Musical categories which include Chicago -Davis Musical Theatre Company; Drowsy Chaperone and White Christmas -Runaway Stage Productions; Avenue Q - Missouri Street Theatre and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee - Placer Community Theatre. Two dramatic performances will be given by Sierra Stages- Death of a Salesman and Sutter Street Theatre- Leading Ladies. There will also be a special opening number choreographed by Jacob Montoya. This format harkens back to the inaugural Elly ceremony where drama, comedy and musical performances were featured throughout the award ceremony.

Pre-purchased ticket prices are General Admission - $25; SARTA members and groups of 10 or more - $20 and Elly Nominees are offered a reduced price of only $8!
