As Gallery has developed a reputation for reimagining these iconic pieces, President Mark Harborth (Chess, Dreamgirls) promises a unique experience for audiences already familiar with the show. 'You won't see a striped winter scarf in this production (or a sexy Santa suit for that matter) but you will hear every note of Jonathan Larson's passionate score performed by one of the most dynamic and talented casts and orchestras Gallery has assembled.'

Last night I fell in love … again … with Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST! And that was surprise. The Musical holds a very special place in my heart since Broadway's original Belle, Susan Egan, and Broadway's final Belle, Anneliese Vanderpol, are both former students of mine. I was looking forward to seeing the production - but I was, in no way, expecting to be so completely taken in. It was a first class production all the way and was, by far, for me, the best musical theatre production in the McCallum's 25th anniversary season and the perfect way for them to begin to bring down the curtain on a tremendous and memorable year.
Be their guest. Be their guest. Put their production to the test. Take a program in your hand, cherie, and they provide the rest. Lots of dance. Lots of song. Why they only live to serve. Try the staging. It's delicious. Don't believe me? Ask the hundreds of children and adults who eagerly attended Broadway Sacramento's opening of Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast' Wednesday night.

This musical is a wonderful opportunity to introduce a young child to an old classic tale, and allow them to fall in love with the fairytale come true that is not only the story of Beauty and the Beast, but of the Broadway stage itself, right here in Columbus.
